Summer Reading List

Summer Reading List

It is always my hope that the the (somewhat) slower pace of Summer will mean I get to more of the books I have on my reading list. My pile of “to read” design books continues to grow, and I generally make my way through those a few minutes at a time over the course of several months. What can I say? Uninterrupted reading time is something of an enigma! I do love to read before nodding off to sleep, though, and definitely look forward to that time to wind down, and escape with a good book. I tend to go through genre phases - a chunk of fiction (suspense/thrillers a fave), historical novels, and spiritual/inspirational. Right now, I’m heavy on the historical novel area, which feels like a great way to learn about history, while still feeling compelled by a personal connection to the characters.

I’m always on the lookout for book suggestions, usually relying on what my Kindle says might be of interest. I thought it might be fun to share what books I’ve read lately, as well as a few I hope to get to this Summer. I might have thrown in a few more design books I’m coveting, too! (hello, Summer bday girl, here! ;) I’d love to have any suggestions, too!
